social science syllubus of class X for board examination 2010

We would like to inform you that vide CBSE circular No.11/09 dt17/04/09 it is decided to give equal weightage to the four components of History,Geo,Eco and political Science that is 20 marks each from the Board Examination 2010 onwards in class X.
In Geography,India- Resources and their development,class X,the topic on "Forest and wild life resources"has been included for the Board Examination,2010 onwards and sub topics namely food security and impact of Globalization on Agriculture will remain deleted.
Kindly inform the changes mentioned above to all the students.
